Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
We left Isla Isabel at 2 AM to get into Puerto Vallarta before dark. We stayed at Marina Vallarta , which was smack in the middle of downtown. That night we grabbed margaritas and dinner at Bacha’s and shopped around town. My parents “adopted son,” Chris met up with us to continue on the journey with us. We caught up over some beers and went to Sonora Grill Prime for our Valentines day dinner. The steaks were amazing, we highly recommend visiting if ever in Puerto Vallarta.
The next day we rented a car and drove an hour into the jungle to Vallarta Botanical Gardens. Here we ate lunch at their amazing restaurant and wondered through the 20-acre garden at 1,300 ft above sea level. Chris and I swam in Rio Horcones River, that ran through the garden. while we had the rental car we went down in to old town PV and had a few beers and then to La terrazzo Di Roma for dinner.
The last day here we used to get the boat ready and to get provisions. On our way out of the harbor we saw two humpback whales with their baby breaching, what a way to end our visit in Puerto Vallarta.
